In December 2005, a rabid
college football fan founded The Loyalty Fund
, a non-profit foundation designed to help families with special needs
needs by providing information, events, accessibility and more in East TN.
As a joke, Steve Johnson, a Tennessee Volunteers fan and father of a child
with Autism, put his fan loyalty up for sale on eBay. Through some strange happenings, Steve started
with the money from the auction from highest bidder Mike.
